Title: Trouble creating an account?
Post by: dekoyl on January 18, 2010, 10:33:12 pm: I'm trying to create an account for Monash. However, after having trouble setting my password for the "Novell" system, it asks me for the "Authcate" password. What is this Authcate password?

it did all sorts of crazy things, like delete my password and say that i created one when i never did .__.

so i had to call them up directly and they helped me find, perhaps the creating account is screwd? do it tomorrow!

um i can access my monash and thats about it. dont know about mail. ALSO i dont get it when do we have to enrol? is it on the 29th or can it be before

Post by: jejak on January 19, 2010, 12:13:48 am: Not quite related, but I remember creating some kind of Monash intranet account when I accepted my scholarship. Do I have to use the same one when I enrol online? If so I'm screwed 'cause I have no idea what the name+password were haha.

yeah it works for me. I got that exact same message, but it said not to worry and just continue.

The sign of a new student is one that doesn't know their student ID by heart... mine has a lot of 4s and 8s.

i just read this thread, and yeah i had all sorts of trouble with my password too, i just called the ITS helpdesk this morning and they fixed it all for me :)
