Title: unsure whether get 2nd round offer should i irregular for another course?
Post by: harmony on January 24, 2010, 06:49:43 pm
hi there,

i am asking quite a lot of question these days. i hope you don't mind

j/w, if i got my 2nd preference and dislike it. want either my 1st preference(prefer more) or my 3rd preference, should i apply an irregular offer for my 3rd preference?

because i fear that it might forgo my chance of receiving the 2nd round offer for my 1st preference..

how do you think about this?

thanks!

um,  so would an irregular offer supercede my original higher preference's 2nd round offer?

An irregular offer will override all other preferences on your list if your application is successful. You will not be considered for any other course. Hope that helps

You won't get a third preference.  For 2009 VTAC applicants, there are only two main rounds - round 1 and round 2.

Remember, accepting an offer does not impact at all on your chances of receiving a second round offer, provided you did not receive an offer for your first preference in the first round.
