Title: Math Methods and Specialist Mathematics Tuition 2013
Post by: TrueTears on January 28, 2010, 09:30:49 pm
Details/Cost: Tuition will be either:
1 on 1 - $40 per hour, $60 for 1.5 hours.
Groups (2 or more): Costs vary, contact me.

Location: I am located in Oak Park. Very convenient to get here as I live right next to Oak Park train station, if you are planning to get here from the city, the cragieburn line takes you straight here. If you wish to get here by car, I live right next to the freeway, so extremely fast to get here even if you live in the East. Due to uni and other commitments, I will not be tutoring at the state library; I will only be tutoring at home and a few times at Monash University Clayton Library. Times are quite flexible if it is at my place, however it is quite restricted if you want to have lessons at Monash Uni Library.

hey,
just wanting to enquire about tutoring..
this is for maths methods 3 & 4
im wanting to have about 6 sessions
1st session on polynomials and their graphs
2nd session on logarithims, exponentials and possibly modulus functions
3rd session on trigonometry and its applications
4th session on differentiation including applications
5th session on integration and applications
6th session on probability

also i would like to receive some resources if thats possible?

i will require 1 hour for each session..
how much do you think you are able to charge me? and considering the amount of sessions and also possible further sessions (most likely) am i able to recieve a discount?

i live in lalor, in the northern suburbs, which is close to you also
look forward to hearing from you! :)

This guy has more karma than everyone else on this board combined
Definitely deserves it all too

Explains concepts impeccably and turned out to be a great friend too :P Should definitely give this guy a go as he also has one of the the cheapest rates around. I think he had around 20 tutees at one point?

He's also EXTREMELY dedicated, will help you with anything 24/7 as long as he's on msn (which he always is :P)

Its a shame he had to move away from me, he literally lived 10 houses down from me before ditcherr </3

I could go on and on but words simply cannot explain his epicness

Hey TT,

out of curiosity, aside from the textbook, which one of DHA/Neap/Jacks/TSFX did you use/recommend?

Hey, I'm really not sure as I've never used those material, I only used Essentials mathematics for Methods and Spesh for VCE and read quite a bit of Stewarts Calculus. Also I browsed wiki pages, read lots of online material, discussed lots of maths with friends and watched a fair bit of MIT's online lectures.

Hey Sim, Can I reserve a spot again except this time I'll probably do it once a month for 2hrs a lesson just to inquire about some things that I probably don't understand or for SAC and Exam tips. This isn't 100% yet cuz I still need to ask my parents.

Oh and can I have the Set questions for ch 3 to 12 :D thnx
