What's the rough cost of printing out an entire textbook?

Wouldn't printing off an entire textbook be like extremely un-practical? Like the pages would get all worn out quickly etc?

Nah, if you get them bound with a front a back cover, they are pretty durable and look quite pro as well.
i was in the melb uni bookstore today, and a lot of the stuff they were selling for uni was just 500+ page printoffs that had been bound...

There's this pathetic little thermal physics book at the ANU bookshop. It costs around $130 and has about 300 pages (at most). Sitting right next to it is a 1000+ page chem book worth $120.

It's not about quality, it's about supply and demand.

I never thought of doing this! A bit impractical when some of my books are 600+ pages long though :P Don't they question you if you're printing copyrighted material?
