I'm such a failure :(
I won't even sit exam 2
-
i think i got 35/40
i can kiss my 40 goodbye hey :(
i made 2 HUGE mistakes in core cos i'm an idiot and didn't read it right
and then one mistake in each module
-
dont stress, you gave it your best shot and thats what counts
not to mention you still have exam 2 to blitz, chin up.
-
Well, I'm a little annoyed that I made a few 'silly mistakes' but I suppose that is generally unavoidable. From what I see I've gotten 37/40, any ideas at what kind of score (if I got say, 55/60 on the second) + given my rank of the top 3 in school I'm looking at?
-
God damit, made a number of silly mistakes on it. Including question 7 on Geo/Trig - The one with the box and the metal rod, i said it was 36cm when it was like 64, shitiititi pissd of to the max. dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
-
Ya, don't worry too much about this anymore, exam 2 in 1 day! Noone knows what's gonna happen in exam 2 ><

so thats like 8 marks lost over both exams, i remember vaguely that someone lost 8 marks last year and got 42 raw, but dont quote me on that.. oh and i dont know the sac marks im assuming A+
-
Guys I got about 25 / 40! That'll give me a raw of about 18 i'd imagine!
Don't stress guys!
-
sac marks im assuming A+
Yeah, A+. 42 would be nice.
-
According to the answers posted here I got 5+7+9/27 and 11/13 (32/40 = 80%) (Screwed up geo bad lol :|). Reckon a 33 raw still possible?! According to last year it just scrapes in A.
-
okay rechecked
i got all of graphs right
so if i hadn't made those two stupid stupid stupid mistakes i could have gotten 38/40
and now i'm screwed
LET'S JUST HOPE THE REST OF THE STATE SCREWED UP TOO GUIZE
-
The further exam was relatively good, but I found it to be harder than those of previous years (perhaps because of the provision that specialist maths students are allowed to do it?) I didn't understand about 3 questions overall (my modules were Geometry and Trigonometry, Graphs and Relations, and Business Maths) but hopefully I've done well. Maths definitely isn't my best subject, but it's one I've thoroughly enjoyed all year. Did anyone else find that there were some questions that you had never come across before (e.g. Q9 in Graphs and Relations)? I'm guessing that only the really apt students would be able to get them without ever having experienced a similar question before. Ah well, we've still got Wednesday I suppose...
-
some one posted this on BOS (lol yes i ventured over)
for a study score of 40 you need atleast: 36/40 in exam 1 and 45/60 in exam 2
(dont know how accurate it is)
-
According to these answers here I got around 33-34. Not toooo bad, but I'm still pissd at my stupid mistakes.
On question, On the core, Q10, Many of my friends got A (scatterplot). I said E, % bar chart and no one else seemd to get E. But on here, lots of people did. Not sure if im wrong or not...
-
i think im on a 39/40 (going of answers posted here and BOS)
just depends i may have lost 2 marks in networks which would give me a 38/40... now time to pwn exam 2!!
-
I got 33/40........... I can't even believe it, my motivation for studying has like gone i can kiss my 90+ enter good bye too... sigh
-
39/40
Stupid cylinders with hemispheres cut out!
-
Yep Im looking at last years grade distributions and according to last years exam you could afford to get a 36/40 to get an A+ (but still doesnt guarentee 40+ SS...)
-
I thought it was a good exam.
I managed to get 40/40 (judging by the different people's/my friends answers). My 50+ practice exams payed off. Bring on Wednesday so I can secure my 50.
-
well guys,
no matter how many prac exams you do, it doesn't mean you will suceed
i came out of that exam crying
i worked so hard during the year, coming down to this
i had otten over 90% on my pracs, and now it appears that i have gotten about 27/40
i wanted a study score of 30+, now i will be lucky to even get that
depresso mood
why was it harder this year, last year's i would have blitzed

LOL i forgot to mention it was VERY similar to Insight 2007 practise exam
so similar that the insight paper had the pretty much the same contour map question, something ive never seen before in any other practise exams/Vcaa exams.. hmm abit too coincidental if u ask me!
