Post by: gmx on March 14, 2010, 03:23:14 pm
can we use a generalized quote about say...the influentuality of media in persuasion....in our conclusion for a language analysis? Is it a good idea?

You're meant to analysing the techniques used in the article/editorial etc, so your conclusion should be summing up the arguments presented by the author. We were told last year in English not to bring in any outside information to our language analyses, and to only quote what is in the piece you are analysing.
