Guys and girls, dont ask for help from me anymore... because as you can see im a failure, so you may as well ask someone else...
Good luck with further exam 2 everyone !
-
Don't talk like that!
-
Don't talk like that Odette! Its normal to get a few questions wrong! You're great and you know your stuff really well.
-
It's the truth, if I was that great i wouldn't have lost 7 marks !! fucken 11 trial exams and I get that... what hope for me is there?!?
-
You certainly aren't a failure. As my chemistry tutor once said; "Always aim as high as possible. That way, even if you miss the heavens, you'll still end up in the stars". There was nothing wrong for aiming for 50, and if you pretend that you got full marks on this you can still get full for exam two. Chin up, ey?

33/40 is an awesome score.
I got 68% and I'm fine with it.
-
odette, you and i worked so hard
and this is what it gets us
seriously what the hell
i did 11 prac exams too
what the hell
okay the lesson is
don't do prac exams
and don't work hard
cos this method reaps no rewards

But you didn't even bother with further, i did :(
-
Thats true, but that doesn't detract from the fact that your score is still really really good and because of your generosity, you deserve to get good scores.
You've always been there to help out and you're a great person, so don't get weighed down by a few lost marks.

Just put everything in perspective... you can't change the past so no use worrying about it because you can't change it. Focus on exam 2, blitze it and prove to yourself that you know everything. You seem very knowledgeable in Further so you should be able to redeem yourself.
Oh and also... there is a life after VCE :D
Just stay calm, stay focused and be happy that you have family and friends that love you and care about you because they are way more important than a stupid maths exam.
Hope that cheers you up :P

this is EXACTLY how i felt after finding out my chem mid year (B+, was aiming for high 90s), i did HEAPS of practise exams (most of them twice over)
good lesson learnt for me that you need to study the actualy material rather than Qs, and be 100% on your game come exam day (that is getting the right sleep night before, eating well before etc)
edit: exam 2 is much easier imo, cos there not really trying to trick you, and it seperates the people who are average from those who are good... ive found my exam 2 scores have been higher than exam 1 for prac exams..
