Hey,
I am doing business this year, 08', and was wondering what marks I would need on S.A.C's and were I would need to be ranked in my school and also exam marks?
-
Welcome to VN Daniel.
Um well you would need to try to be ranked in the top 3 (depending on the number of students doing business management at your school)... As for marks you'd need to average about a high A to A+ ...
Hope that helps,
Good luck.

Well. I would think it would depend on how large the class is and how strong the middle is - if you have a strong middle, that means the whole class does really well, and that means you don't have to be in the top 5 to hit 40. Although assuming that Business classes are usually just one class of about 10-20, I would think you'd need to get into the top 5 to get a 40. So like Odette said, aim for A to A+ in SACs.
-
You will need an A+ in the exam for starters, so if your not getting A+'s in the S.A.C.s, then its going to be hard to pull out an A+ for the exam IMO.
-
I got A+ A+ A and I got 40 for bus. man. I was ranked about 1-3rd in my SACs. ;)
-
Wow..do you know how high the A was? Its just for accounting I got A A+ A+ with my A in the midyear exam 1.5 marks off A+. Guess its different for different subjuects! lol, still...to be safe, A+'s are what you should be aiming for.

I got a study score of 43 for Business Management.
SACS
Unit 3- 96/100
Unit 4- 97/100
Ranked 2 out of 40 students.
Exam: A+ (109/120)- according to statement of marks.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies. I had first S.A.C last week and got full marks. What did you get for busineess management Odette? Everyone knows you in business, your a celebrity..you must like it because you reply still, after you have finished business lol..
-
Keep the good work up, daniel99.
FYI, I was 2nd (by 1 mark) in the marks for SACs and got A+, A+, A for a 41.
Funny enough, me and the first guy both got 41, but the two behind us both got 42.
So it's key to do well on SACs, but try even harder on the exam. :)
-
Lol... nah i'm no celebrity, I also got 40 for business management (So disappointing :( )
-
Lol 40 isn't bad, but you deserved 50. VCE undervalues students' real marks, from what I've experienced myself, first-hand. I really wanted a 48 in accounting, but that's life.
