Title: Commenting

I haven't done Univariate data for a long time so I've completely forgotten my Year 9 Maths. Anyway I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on how to comment on:

• The introduction (What points do I need to include in it? How would I write it?)
• 5 Figure Summary (How do I refer to them?)

If you need to comment box plots, then you would use the five figure summary:

1.  Minimum
2.  Q₁
3.  Median
4.  Q₃
5.  Maximum

If you are comparing box plots, then you would comment on the shape (positively skewed, negatively skewed or symmetrical and outliers if present), median and spread (IQR and range).

If youre making a resource, ie. a journal you can take into your exam, I suggest you copy one of the examples of box plot comparisons into your notes. Just copy it straight out of the answers section in the book, then when it appears on an exam or a sac, like it did on mine, you can just substitute relevant names and distribution features in.
