If I had passed S1, it would have given me a nice shot at Dental @ USyd

So, what kind of scores do you need to get into med?
congrats to everyone btw

Depends on the uni, and how much they weight the GAMSAT. It varies quite a lot!

Melbourne Uni does equal weighting so 65.

can anyonegive me any tips on how i can improve section 3? i didnt pay much attention in first year science, that may be why...

Congrats to everyone. :)
Hope you all got the results you were hoping for.
Does anyone know approx what the percentile cut-off's are for UniMelb Graduate Medical Doctorate?
Obviously it changes from year to year, but a rough percentile would be good.

Congratulations everyone who sat the GAMSAT. I've heard it's a pretty tiring process and unlike the UMAT, you have to write essays. Nonetheless, congratulations to those who stood up and embraced the challenge.
I wish you all the best you all with best with your post-graduate studies.

why whose PQ?
yeh i was on paging dr and i saw someone list 100 score under s 3. is that some sort of adjusted score or did they really get 110/110? it just doesnt sound right, the questions are so hard and with limitied time u just cant get that.

maybe the highest mark was 90/110 which he got and so it corresponds to a 100, works the same way as study scores...

I'm not sure about GAMSAT, but for UMAT at least, the section scores work in a fairly strange way. Different questions are worth different amounts of marks and the section scores are scaled to difficulty apparently, in order for scores to be comparable across years (GAMSAT scores are valid for 2 years). In the UMAT, I had friends get over 100 in S3, so it's definitely not a percentage or even a scaled mark out of 100. It's just an adjusted raw score.
