Ah i just found you couldnt use it :/
I taped out around 3 lines in a 6 line question, pretty messy whiting out too D;
-
They even allowed you to bring it in in the first place?
-
Relax I don't think they'd do anything.
They should be testing ure bio knowledge, so i doubt they'll cut off marks for it
-
Everyone was like "The examiner was giving you weird looks and shit while you were doing that"
Mmm, some people have been saying they don't mark it? I thought it was bs at first but everyone else agreed
-
They did press about white out liquid/tape not allowed
Geeez I dont know .. I hope it didn't cost you marks.. maybe if they like your answer they'll let it go :D
-
You're not allowed liquid paper or correction tape into the exams...

It says so on the front page D:
-
Mm, that's why they say "Now read the instructions on the first page", so you can't get angry at them later.

this has never happened for me
-
I wonder why they don't let you use it- perhaps you could implement some sort of cheating device in it?
-
Apparently one examiner could have used it to change your answer or something
I dont know how that would be different from them just crossing it out and writing it (like they tell you to do normally)

A dodgy examiner? Make that very dodgy..

Ah really? The woman read it out on the microphone for us "Now, read the instructions on the cover sheet" and paused for 30 seconds as we all did.
-
He actually told us all the instructions...
Anyone have liquid tape or any similar product? Hold it up in the air now and a supervisor will collect it
Anyone have a phone or other similar electronic device? Hold it up
ect

I heard it was to stop students from wasting time. Because you sometimes gotta wait for it to dry and everything. So I don't think it will be a big deal. That would be extremely unfair to take marks off, so I doubt they would.
-
Oh yeah you asked for my opinion, sorry I was trying to rush my replies last night I was meant to be watching a movie with my boyfriend - v. important I know.
Anyway, nothing will happen to you - they prefer that you don't use the tape but it's like using pencil in the exam instead of pen.
They will still count your answers and they won't take any marks off.
-
arent they scanning exams this year so, they wud be markin an electronic copy of your exam? so they wudnt be able to notice the whiteout much if this is the case.. . . .

Not bio.
