hey i was wandering which commerce majors are the most sought after and/or have the highest potential earnings. I know i am going to major in accounting but i dont know about the second major? any help?
-
How about doing something you might enjoy? If you are good enough in any field of commerce, earnings shouldn't be an issue.

lol, there have been quite a few threads about this, but if all you want is a super paying, guranteed job, go acturial if you can handle the maths :)

Do accounting with finance or economics if you want a double major - you can't do a double major with actuarial studies due to accreditation subject requirements. I think a double major with Accounting and Finance is the most common.

you can't do a double degree with accounting at UoM either, but i looks like ur going to monah nwyz hard

You can do certain double degrees in BComm, like Accounting/Finance.

lol that's a double major, not a double degree.

My mistake, I didn't read carefully. I assumed he was talking about majors since OP is talking about second major.

you can't do actuarial and finance together, however one of my friends recently completed a finance phd and is now beginning actuarial studies while working etc. will take pretty long but is worth it.
