Title: Help with essay topic.

Hey guys, can someone give me some ideas for this essay topic:
'Public figures are held to a higher standard of language use than the general public' is this fair? Give reasons and recent examples for your answer.

Public figures generally broadcast to a wider audience and therefore they need to speak a more standard form of English so a bigger proportion of their audience can relate/understand.
