Is this even possible? My intuition tells me no, as it wouldn't be well defined.

I've never seen it occur but it probably is possible. Think of vector multiplication, there are two common cases, the dot product and the cross product; the latter you learn in uni. For vector division, I guess you could do the same of those, except divide instead of multipling.

No, it won't be well defined, you are right, however if we represent vectors using complex notation then it would be defined for complex division, but why would you HAHA, it's useless ;D

what did u want to do? find a vector x such that a.x=b for some given vector a and number/field element b?
