hi, so far my scores for the sacs are 37/40, 18/20 and 13.5/20.
yes, i've scrwed up the last sac but the average was only about 9/20 and i came second in the cohort in the first sac.
since i've screwed my last sac, is it still possible for me to get 45+ if i ace both of my exams?

nope. last year an A+ on exam 1 was 36/40 i think, not sure on exam 2 but you can lose more that 1-2 marks and still get A+.

its generally 1 study score point lost per exam mark, so getting ~45 with fairly good SAC ranking is losing 5 marks over both exams.

What about for 50? How many marks are you allowed to lose on both exams? I'm ranked 1 in my year level.

You're kidding? In my practice exams, I generally only lose marks for silly mistakes, but thats a bit harsh. I know further is competitve but are you sure?

Most years from what I've heard, you can lose at most one mark for 50. But sometimes only half or none. Better to aim for full marks...

^ You can even get 49 with losing zero marks, depending on your SACs, which would be frustrating- but it's a possibility.

there's no way. 4 marks would get you ~46 if you have a solid sac ranking.

i know a person who lost 4 or 5 marks approx altogether and he ended up with 48

Not really a relevant question to the thread, but I didn't want to make a new one.
What happens if in Exam 2 we get all the right answers, but don't show any workings (even for 2 mark questions)? Would we still lose the method marks despite the fact we got the right answers throughout the exam? I seem to have a problem showing workings (laziness xD), and I want to know if it might cost me some marks at the end of the year.
