Title: defining observational learning
Post by: Spreadbury on August 31, 2010, 03:33:19 pm
can we use 'observation' as part of our definition for observational learning. I personally can't think of a word to substitute for 'observation' as observation doesn't just include watching but could also be listening (I believe). the closest word to observation i can think of would have to be spying and that just sounds inappropriate

i think you can use observation because it is not observation that needs to be defined but observational learning as a whole. The definition im using is " when someone uses observations of another persons actions and conseqauences  to guide there own future actions"
hope that helps
