Hey guys, i just interested to hear where everyone is up to in the umep maths course????
As of yesterday my group finished the course and was wondering if that was pretty standard or if we have been going too fast/slow.
Also how are people feeling about the course? Do you guys feel comfortabel with the topics??? Will you be doing any study for the exam over the comming holidays?
I know perosnally i will just be cramming after my final vce exam and will probably not really touch my uni maths stuff once i am up to date with the exercises......
Cheers, Tram :)

Hey,
We finished the course about a month ago
yeah same...just gotta finish some exercise sheets then leaving it to those 8 days before exam 1

which school centre do you do it at out of intrest?
-
I heard the course was very hard, my mate got a 44 in methods last year and suspects failing UMEP maths.

ummmmm well i reackon with a decent teacher someone who got a 44 SHOULD be able to at the very least NOT fail the umep cource.....
Like ok, i know that i ahve an awesome teacher that gives us awesome notes and make the cource very accessable, but i also have several friends at other school centres that have worse teacher, and while they are mathmatically skilled, they have very little motivation to do well because their teacehr dosen;t make it interesting and they don;t do any work whihc of course is going to make it difficult. If you do regular work and keep up with the course, you should be fine.....
