hey guys

is anyone else having trouble signing in through the GMail Drive

it says unable to fetch gmail cookies :S

and it also says that maybe Google disabled something to stop the drive from working...hmm...

I had this problem but should work if you go to gmail.com and then just sign in from there

AFAIK Google made some changes to Gmail recently... however they've taken a while to roll out the changes to all the accounts.

You should consider changing to a place like box.net, where you get a gig of space to put stuff. It's got a nice drag-and-drop upload interface too, so it's somewhat like the Gmail drive but web-based. :)

like for the exam papers account, it was really easy to access the papers through the drive, b/c going through the browser and trying to find a specific paper is annoying..grrr

It hasnt been working with gmail drive for me. I've just been logging in at gmail.com

Will the the username and pass be exclusive like it was on BoS. Grr @ what happened last time with someone changin the pass!!

I don't think they give it to anyone unless you've been a member for a few months. Annnd I think you have to PM rustic_metal now, not applexy. What was your BOS name?

^bos name was kittensgoseksu (haha), but i basically stopped posting ever since the site got REALLY slow...

i registered there in feb of this year though.

apple got sick of running the drive, he hasnt done it for months...

Yeh, the new changes to Gmail may affect how third-party applications operate, which is why Gmail Drive, or whatever it is called is broken (as Google changed the way Gmail pulls data from the backend, and how the backend talks to the frontend - the frontend being the page in your web browser).
