Title: Oral Exam
Post by: 715761 on October 02, 2010, 05:00:30 pm
Hey

In the oral exam is it rude to use 父 and 母?
Do we have to use お父さん and お母さん?

The littlest things confuse me O_O

Use 父 and 母 when referring to your own parents.  Otherwise, use お父さん and お母さん.

ha! Y9 knowledge; I can actually read that ;)
What EZ said was right; chi-chi for your own father, ha-ha for your own mother, otousan for someone else's father, okaasan for someone else's mother

Hey is it ok if I used aitsu and koitsu to refer to my parents? I do not respect them and I dislike them very much. Surely I can't lose marks for being honest? anyone?
