Title: oral component of a lote

umm just wondering if anyone can tell me how important the LOTE orals are in the final study score..? if u didnt do very well in french, lets just say, but can (hopefully with many hrs of study) ace the written, can u still get a high mark..?

hey
can't really remember the exact percentage, maybe 15% of your overall mark? you can still do well if you do well on your exam, and provided your SACs and cohort are strong... and remember that scaling for a LOTE still makes a significant difference to your score, so don't give up on it!

thanksss :) i love how a yr of speaking all comes down to 15 minutes... ahh i hate french right now!

Doing well in your oral exam is critical to all languages in VCE.  If you do well, you are already ahead of the pack and chances are, if you killed the oral, you'd have a high morale and probably own the written exam as well.
