Hi everyone, i'm just wondering what the deal is with doing a year 12 LOTE, I've heard a lot of different rumours that doing a LOTE will actually increase your overall VCE Aggregate? by 10%? In addition to contributing to your top 4? Could someone please clarify on this, or is it just counted as a normal subject like Physics, Methods etc...

Normal subject.
Government gives +5 automatic as an incentive and then scaling usually brings it up more...Latin gets +15 i think?

thats ridiculous, while im stuck here killing my self for greek.. and it only gets marked up by 3 :(

Hey I know this thread hasn't been active for a month, but I still have a question.
In atarcalc.com, when I put in 45 as a study score for Indonesian SL, the scaled ss is only 49.
That's 4 points mark up. Has that already included the +5 default from the government?

Yes.

Oh. So does that mean that Indo a actually scales down as a subject? :S

Haha yeah.
So luckily (and perhaps deservingly) it has the government increment!

Hi everyone
I completed year 12 Turkish this year and I was wondering doesn't the government give some sort of increase to the SS or aggregate or something cos when I type 40 into the ATAR calc it gets scaled down to 39 :(
Thanks
