Well I plan on reading most of the day.
Going over all the main ideas and themes of my novel
Reading a couple of sheets of ID/Belonging ideas
Commiting quotes to memory
Plans
Everyone else??
-
That's exactly what my English teacher told me to do as well.
-
im doing the same thing, just rereading all of my practice essays and reading study guides for my text...
-
Straight to the library to do the same thing as the OP.
-
writing more essays/ read study guides etc...
-
Quotes, reading old essays, practice timed exam with friends at library, briefing self on why humans suck for conflict, jumping for joy over the thought of going back to methods practice exams...
-
-going over ideas/themes
-writing another conflict piece
-doing heaps of LA because i'm terrible at them
-memorising quotes
-doing a lot of plans for Text response
:) WHAT A FUN DAY
-
jumping for joy over the thought of going back to methods practice exams...
I feel ya man.
-
Nothing. Just playing my guitar all day :). Oh, and sleeping. So over english.
-
I have a loving pile of study guides, and some highlighters so I might just read through those, before playing with my C&P conclusion.
and some practise plans for harder structure questions.
-
Writing up some notes just to relax, and to get my ideas down without having to stress myself.
Writing up a plan or two just for lulz.
Annotating a few articles (language analysis) just for lulz.
And memorising quotes!
-
I'm doing another timed practice exam, I'll watch Look Both Ways again.
Then I might cheer myself up and do a PE practice exam :)
-
- Re-reading the texts
- Going over ideas/themes & contributing more
- Annotating a few articles, and reading over a list of persuasive devices
- Sleeping early, 9PM
-
listening to this

and doing a few more LA
-
Do nothing? I dunno, I know I should reread my novels, BUT I CAN'T BE BOTHERED....THEY TAKE HOURS =.=
-
I might just read some notes on AMFAS and my ideas for context.
Definitely play Fifa though...gotta relax a bit.
-
KYZOO, DONT READ DA BOOk, WATCH DA MOVIE!
-
listening to this

Listen to some REAL music lol. Tommy Emmanuel ;)
As if you need to do anything kyzoo. You're set for awesomeness tomorrow :).
-
Just wrote an imaginative landscape piece (half a one)
Went through each context question that i have (about 20) and constructed a story for each
Browse through my Maestro study guide
LUNCH BREAK AT SUBWAY (so excited)
Annotate some language analysis
Hit up some bio exams to finish it up
-
I personally cannot study a heap before an exam/test/SAC the day before.
I find it gets me too stressed and that I confuse myself so my confidence goes low.
But I am going over the basics such as a few quotes for LBW and AMFAS and general ideas for Identity and Belonging whilst hoping for a decent prompt.
Best of luck everyone :)
-
actaully...I am just going to spam spesh exams after I do a prac language analysis
-
= = I don't think I can breathe.....I've been writing blogs and practising context everyday that I realise i've run out of time for lang and text O_O I'M PISSING MY PANTS!!!! what do i do ><

Just wing that shit.
Context is good.
LA ... is all about what u do on the day
and Text response = u need a good topic
so dont stress
u can do it
-
I think as long as you DO NOT retell in LA, and keep your quotes to max 3-4 words, you'll be fine. Just try and work out your context and keep that going.
I think also if its really stressing you out, leave it till last, and tackle your context (which you said is your best) and text and then perhaps come back to it in the last hour and just grit your teeth and pump it out.
-
Sticking to lynt.br's legrendary lang analysis formula: {A} technique in {B} example is designed to have {C} effect because of {D} reason.
Just gotta mix it up a little. And use logic too :)
-
Consolidating my ideas about reality etc, looking at prompts and relating them to shark net, reading my plans for the 30 or so AMFAS topics I've looked at, memorizing last ditch quotes and reading mine and others essays...
Basically re reading everything in my English folder...
I also just got 100% on a spesh practice exam, so I'm giving myself 30 minutes of music time now.

Hmmm i disagree about the quotes things.
some long quotes are good aswell
-
Yeah quotes in LA are difficult, my theory is if you work them in no matter what there good, but eh
-
Wrote a LA and Context piece earlier today.
Gonna just read maestro study guide and maybe do a final essay later.
Then probably do a spesh or methods exam to finish the day.
-
i just ripped lisachem bio exam 2010, so im in a chilled state of mind.
anyone care to bring me back to reality with a 1984 prompt?
-
Was going through my past essay, then accidentally slashed my right eye with the edge of one of my past paper! Dam English giving me a bad time
So I listened to the film for the morning (My eyes are killing me)
Plan to just memorise quotes and go over ideas
Analyse a few articles (annotate, no essays)
Try to hope to god my eyes won't hurt like hell and feel blurry tomorrow.
-
did one prac exam. was going to do one more text response but i am too tired and I will probably do badly and lose confidence. so thats it. I will just go over my quotes and LA structure
-
wrote a LBW film tech essay (fingers crossed for a related prompt tomorrow!)
watched the lakers play the rockets on ONE for a bit.
cry.
Drink 3-4 cups of goon, in a hope i will be able to sleep sometime before 9:00am tomorrow.
Watch House at 9:30.
Before the exam, i plan to yell lots, do tai-chi and tell myself how fucking amazing i am at english.
I recommend you all do the same.
-
yeah, i definitely think i'll do some yoga tomorrow morning

Very tempted to try this.
Will probably get a headache in the morning, however.
-
are you a regular drinker? if so, a few std drinks won't hurt.
-
I was studying... but then I started bantering on VCEnotes... this website isn't so productive study-wise when exams are approaching :D
-
i am so stressed i would rather be a piece of crap right now then writing essays.
-
no shit ive spent more time on vn than doing productive work
ah well

-
I hate how motivated I was this morning, now I just watched the little giants, while holding a cosi study guide...
-
I don't want to attempt a text-response in fear I'll lose my falsified imagination that I'll do well tomorrow even though I have not done sufficient amounts of preparation in the lead-up to the exam tomorrow. -sigh-
I'm like this guy. Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.
