Title: Monash Engineering 2011

Predictions of clearly in ATAR?
Last year was 92.
You guys think it will change greatly? since UoM is not offering Engineering?
Then again Melbourne's clearly in has been lower in past years meaning 'top' students opt for Monash anyway?
My gut feeling is, Engineering at all the Uni's will increase slightly :-/ . Opinions?

I think that Atar req. for Monash Eng would increase only slightly this year. Saying so as last year, Monash Engineering Excellence award Minimum Atar was 99.4, as opposed below 98.85 in 2008. (might be lower, but I know a friend who got it with 98.85- w/o SEAS). This means that more students with higher ATAR is applying for Monash Eng.

So if it were to increase, it would've increased from 2008->2009 instead of 2009->2010, but then again, theres so many other variable factors.

Regardless, you should be aiming for the best possible ATAR you can get and then have Monash as preference one and hope you get in

If one Monash engineering course goes up in ATAR, the others are likely too as well. You just got to hope that on that day your score is high enough
