I chose C, so I'm wrong. But I was guessing between B and C. I never fully understood matrix multiplication and my book doesn't explain it very well.
So why exactly would it be UT instead of TU?
-
I thought do one or the either but in some retarded universe I said to myself well im going to do the completely retarded and guess D because i might come out right :P
-
the answer is C lol. because tu will give how much v did for photocopy, how much n did for faxing etc. it wont make sense.
-
Oh wait, I mean I chose B.
-
i thought B at the start but ended up with C.

How did you figure it out on the exam though? Did you do it both ways to see which one made more sense or did you know that it was TU at first.
-
I was just about to change my answer to C from B but i got told to put my pencil down.
I walked out of the room and asked a friend who confirmed it was C. :'(
-
i first done tu then followed up with ut. because a hunch came that it was a trick question. and geuss i was right.
-
its ut because TU would mean that vince nev and rani are working together at each of the three schools
but it says in the qn only i person per school
-
if its TU then Vince works on the photcopier on school A, Nev on the Fax on school A and Rani on scanner on School A
UT means that Vince works on all 3 for school A the B then C and same for the others
-
Alright. So for example on the matrix of C, what does the 1,1 value represent.
-
1,1 represents how long it takes for Vince to complete all services for the 3 equipment in school A, 1,2 is for school B, 2,1 is for Nev and so on
-
I still don't get this question :S
-
Key words are 'working alone' and 'service office equip. in each of the three schools', therefore one column must be allocated to each person and one row to each school. The rest is self explanatory
