I found graphs and relations quite hard. Can anyone post the answers?

f) 175x + 50y
g) $21500 (wrong)
tell me if any of the other ones are wrong

wasnt q4 like the 3x+y less than 150 ? where there are 3 types

Revenue= (65+65+55=185)x + 50 y ??
I cant remeber the costs for each pillows...

yeh i got 185x + 50y at first
but then changed it to 175x + 50y
because 55+55+65=175
i think that tripped up some people

yea my revenue equation was R=175x + 50y point was at 35,45 with max rev at 8375

i got
R=175x + 50y
REVENUE = $8375

like let s=2x
therefore s + x + y = 150
sub in s= 2x
2x + x + y =150
3x + y = 150

2x + x + y > 150
i didnt know how else to do it lol

thats right! for the one about getting the eqn! it was for 1 softsleep she sold 2 snoresleep so R=175x+50y because 65*1 + 55*2= 175 :)

Yeah i didnt know how to do the R function, so i did:
R=55x+65(2x)+50y
Assuming that the selling prices were $55 for sleepsoft (?), $50 for resteasy and 65 for snorestop. I can't remember the selling prices.
Any chance of getting a mark for this? it eventually gets the same profit max..

and got R=175x + 50y

Hmm, I said R=(175/3)x+50y
Cant quite remember why but can someone please confirm that I was wrong?
Also, was the green circle the point for max profit?

the very last question i think. it asks to find the maximum revenue?

yeah its 8375 as the equation is R=175x + 50y and the point is (35,45)
so sub it in its:
R= 6125 + 2250 = 8375
dont know where you got 21500 from

i thought the point was 104?or somerfing

yeah if you used a point like (105,45) which was where the max revenue for part d was you'd get like 20600 or something of that sorts
but you had to change it so that x + y <= 150 to 3x + y <=150 and then when you found the three points of the feasible region (30,45) (30,60) and (35,45) and then when you sub the three of them in you find the maximum as 8375 at (35,45)

yeah i originally got 21500 then rubbed it out because it was just...not possible. it's because of not accounting for the 3x so when i realized that changed to (35,45)

Okay, so I got (175/3)x + 50y for my revenue equation.
Then I went on to find the correct maximum profit for this equation in my next question which was (30,60) not (35,45)
How many consequentials would I get? 1 or 2?
