For this question, would you guys give me marks or not for the following answers (theyre not in the suggested answers)....
2) Horozontally align "Search", "Save" and "add new" Buttons
Reason: This would make the interface more streamlined and less cluttered saving time looking for the right button
3) Horizontally aligh percentage and class name
Reason: Easier to look at and find the information you're looking for. Space Saving. Simpler.
-
LOL can you upload the exam? the one in my pack has like annotatons and answers on it :(
Question 6 is C right?
BTW you only proposed two reasons! But yea, those are worth marks.

Ummm, the question said you had to refer to characteristics of high quality user interfaces, basically the design elements. If they were being picky they could deduct a mark for each? I'm not sure. But to be safe, you should refer and state that it improves clarity, usability, presentation, etc.

Yup it's C

I remember doing an ITA exam and it sounded like a pedophile wrote the exam. :S I hope the real one isn't silly.
Thanks for the upload, going to do it now. :D
-
Oh, characteristics of high quality user interfaces are the design elements? (Proportions, orientation..)
-
Yeah I'm pretty sure they are, Potts refers to those points as design elements as well as characteristics for high quality user interfaces.
Vitta re-states this in its solutions too.
-
I did not like that exam one bit. 52/75 :/
-
i got 60/74 or 58 ish if the examiner isnt feeling lenient.....
I only gave 2 reasons because my 3rd one was listed in the solutions
I dont think it was a very well written exam
-
ohh yeah i did that, it was bull
-
Am I the only one who found this pretty easy? Maybe it's because this is like the 22nd I've done...
I got 86/90, that being the highest I've ever got for any. I'm not being overly lenient either, I've given myself high 70%s for other exams.
EDIT: Make that 71/75.

Lol wrong exam? its out of 75.
I only got 60.
-
Whoah what the hell? Aren't IT exams meant to be out of 90?
Anyway, 71/75.
-
Yeah, weird.
And wow, 22! I've done 18 and only have 5 left, so 23 total.
How much do you have in total?
-
Turns out i've done fewer than i thought, only 9 :O, ill do another 2 today, 3 tmrw, 3 monday :D = epic catch up
but the thing is, a lot of those exams are inimical in some ways, as solutions can give u incorrect ideas, it's best to do Insight exams (written by the keylley meister), VCAA and personally i think Kilbaha too..
VITTA = good only for questions on design elements, excel.
-
Yeah, I actually enjoyed doing Insight and Kilbaha, hated VITTA and their dodgy questions/answers.

woh...thats a bit much...bit of advice: don't burn yourself out before the exam like I did for another subject

I'd probably have to agree, If you're not ready now, cramming exams isn't going to help much. Stick with going over all the mistakes that you've made on the 9 that you have done.
I'm going to re-do vcaa 2009 just to get my confidence up before the exam. :)

Wow 22.... but its your only subject so fair cop i guess
