Title: Question about appeals from tribunals
Post by: Christiano on November 08, 2010, 11:09:13 am
Where do appeals from tribunals go to? Am I correct in saying they go to the supreme court? And only on points of law?

Appeals from tribunals like VCAT goes to the Supreme Court on points of law so you are correct.
The Court of Appeal hears appeals on a point of law, decisions as to facts or amount of damages from VCAT.
