! I've decided to just relax... I'll focus on my other subj's !!
-
I know a girl who left a 10 mark question blank in Revolutions 3/4 (The exam is out of 80 marks if I remember correctly) and got 36.
-
brb doing this for legal. -_-
-
I didn't accumulate a single point in year 11, you're ahead of me at the same stage. ;)
-
Lots of people have their top 4 subjects from year 12. dont stress about it.
-
VCE defines about 0% of your life. Stop being asian for chrissakes
-
I didn't do a year 12. Only doing 5 subjects. And doing well at them. Doing one in year eleven just shows you how much work you've gotta put in to do well - a lot. Use this yr 12 subject to learn for the ones next year.
And if it was nothing like what you learnt, did you do prac exams? I know what it's like to have dud teachers, but you gotta just suck it up and teach it to yourself essentially :p

@ gossip girl... i know. it feels so crap to do well in sacs and just bomb like a bitch in the exams. I was literally hyperventilating ... oh well. 10% subject, no biggie right? ;( doing further, methods, eng, viscom, psych next year. hopefully I can nail those in the head and get the 93.65
-
One of my friends' sister got 31 in psych in year 11 which scales to like 29ish. And she got 95.45 as her enter cos she did really well in her year 12 subjects. Learn from your mistakes with this exam. Did you not do enough practice exams, did you not check the study design carefully enough to see what they would ask, did you not manage your time well? You need to consider all of it and use it to your advantage next year. I know doing a 3/4 in year 11 helped me heaps to see what was good and what wasn't. Just be thankful you've done a 3/4 in year 11! Who cares what the score is, it's the experience that matters most I reckon. Good luck with your score, I'm sure it won't be as horrible as you think :D

that's amazing advice :). I hope to jesus I don't get 31... but what's done, is done right? amazing score. gl w/ this year. ^^

if you go in with this...mindset in year 12, you'll end up getting far too stressed and it will be detrimental to your entire score in the end (trust me, i stressed like an insane person because of a lot of things during mid-years and ended up not being able to work that well), since then i've relaxed and realized your ATAR/year 12 is not everything.
sooner you can realize how little your ATAR means in the long run as there are about 5million other pathways even if things don't work out; the better off you'll be and the better you'll probably perform.
not saying relax and don't work, but if something doesn't go your way don't stress about it and try to just enjoy your year. year 12 teachers treat students at a more equal level and the social life is great, enjoy lifeeeeee.

Does anyone have success stories of when they did sh!t in year 11 and good in year 12? I'm so scared -_-
I got 28 in year 11. Yes 28... raw. feel better now?
-
I know it sucks at the moment, but try to think of it like this: Even if it is your bottom subject, you'll still get a few extra marks for it, and you're already ahead of all the people who didn't do a year 12 subject in year 11. Sorry to hear about this :( Good luck!
-
Wow... for what? I really hope I don't get 28, that'll just degrade my confidence :(

jesus lots of people get scores like that, stop acting like it's like the end of the world and being a drama queen, there is actually more to life than vce.. in particular more to life than just one subject

OKAY. I'm in year 11. Today I just finished the Australian history exam, and I epicly failed. I left two 6 mark questions and a 2 mark question blank, half-blank, because the questions totally did not relate to what I learnt.
I'm like, on the verge of just going to live on the street. I've gotten all A+'s this entire year for my SACs and I just blew my chance of a 40+ by failing this stupid exam. I already lost 14 marks by default out of 80...
-_- Does anyone have any motivating advice? I've asked my friends, they say it'll be fine, but I feel like crap. How much would my SACs count?
to get AT LEAST a 35? I'm so scared.. I don't wanna fail year 12...

you're such a faggot

I think you're going a tad over the top, treat yr 11 accelerated subjects as a practise run! stop stressing and in a way 'whining' and just learn from your mistakes and don't make the same ones next year.

To add onto this, don't talk about suicide either. It's an incredibly sensitive topic, and too say your gonna kill yourself because of a Year11 3/4 is really inappropriate.

Alright. Enough with the scrutiny .... Yeah, feels like crap, I'm over it.
