BAHASA MAU IKUT BERSILANCAR EMPAT MCCHICKEN WUT WUT
-
i can't believe google translator doesn't have mengentot. found it in the dictionary though :)
anyway, i reckon bersama-sama senior is a pretty good textbook especially for the detailed study section of the oral. it wasn't on my booklist however my teacher gave us some handouts/info from it.
-
yeh bersama-sama was good. used it alot for the oral. what was your topic?
and you can find mother****er in the dictionary too :P
-
Bersama-sama is a great book.
If anyone is interested, I have a copy of the Bersama-sama Workbook and Focus Book. It's filled in with pen (some pages whited-out) but still pretty usable. MASSIVE bargain (I'll start at $10 each, negotiate if you want). I used these as my second copy (I've already sold my good ones), which comes in useful as an answer reference, especially the focus book with the crosswords and whatnot. RRP for the workbook is $34.50 and the focus book is $35.50, so massive savings to be made here!
I also have a mini oxford dictionary (RRP is $16.95), which I'm selling for $5. Excellent condition.
PM me :)
OP: Sorry about hijacking your thread! I don't have a Bersama-sama Textbook for sale, so you should totes buy swoop's (it's a great resource).

hahah madipantat? there are so many dirty words in the dictionary...even some of the examples they give are dirty! lol
my detailed study was pengaruh barat. what was yours?

Ahahaha I never actually got around to learning or looking up any dirty words. :/
My detailed study was this thing on inter-religious marriage in the Indonesian community. :)

haha dude sif you hijack my thread. but yeh bersama-sama is a good text book. inter-religious communities would be an interesting one. i heard the french students did arab immigration in france.
@melissa: pengaruh barat? did you go to sacred heart? coz i know someone who did that. i did wanita di indonesia. it was an interesting topic.
-
my bad. accidentally wrote my bit in the quote section. here it is...

The french students at my school do the French Revolution for their detailed study every year. Which is a pretty massive advantage if you're doing both Revs and French. :)

maybe i did, maybe i didn't =P what's the name of the person you know? ahh, we did a little on peranan wanita.
inter-religious communities would've been a good one. we studied a bit about the different types of ceremonies (funerals, lebaran etc) and that was quite interesting since it's different to what we have in australia.
EDIT: by the way, i didn't make a conscious effort to search up dirty words. i just came across them in the indo-eng dictionary because you can't actually find them in the eng-indo one hehe

i know an ella from sacred heart.
haha alright i believe ya :) but yeh same madipantat just came in my dictionary out of nowhere.
-
oooh ella! you should ask her about her "datang" story lol
have you ever realised that some commonly used words are kind of dirty? e.g. meniduri (not dirty: to sleep on) and butuh (not dirty: need)?
-
haha i shall.
lol yeh i use a couple of those words in sentences.
you thinking of doing indo for uni?
-
maybe! i'd like to continue studying it so that 6 years of learning indo won't go to waste. plus i'm pretty should it could come in handy in the future. however, i'm not sure whether i'd be able to survive at uni level and to be honest, i've already forgotten some of my indo even though it has only been 1.5 weeks since the exam =P
what about you? are you thinking of continuing?
-
yeh you dont wanna forget it all since you worked so hard on it for the last year especially. i wanna continue it but it would get supremely hard i hear coz you end up doing presentations in indo. and long ones... it would be fun though coz i think monash has a course where you can learn in yogyakarta for 6 weeks which would be mad.
