Title: How many marks can we afford to lose (before doubling) for a 45+

How many marks can we afford to lose across both exams before doubling for a:

45

46

47

48

49

and a 50

thanks, I'd really like to know this info


If I was to perform better on the first exam then the second, what would be the ideal mark to aim for out of 90 (because I don't think I'll do aswell on the next exam as this one)

well nick (from vcenotes) got around 168 I think and he got 44.... but he got 199/200 for sacs, unit 3 and 4...

im pretty sure you can loose 5 marks all together and u will get a 50, with 100% in sacs after moderation. taking from this, 6 marks would give you a 49, 7 a 48 etc. dont quote me on this though, im not 100% sure...

well if your right.... for a 44 I can afford to lose around 5 + 6 = 11 marks on both
that seems doable but pretty hard
infact for me it would probably be like 8 or 9 marks because I havn't gotten 100% on SACS, though ive been close every time 90%+ generally......hmmmmmmmmmmm

I lost 2.5 marks in the first exam (5 after doubling) but I have no idea how many I lost on exam 2. I've heard that if you lose 5 marks in total (before doubling) you are in contention for a 50. From there, with every one mark lost there is probably a loss of one study score, i.e. if you lose 6 marks you get a 49, 7 marks is 48, etc. Note that I don't actually know, this is conjecture.

the exam is out of 90 but then they 'double' it to 180...

Dont know why it's done but they do it.

Is that before or after doubling that you can lose 11 marks on both?
