Checkpoints or A+ notes, in my book list it says checkpoints, but then says A+ notes for exams. I can also buy A+ notes, to summarise the course. Howver, which do you believe will summarise the course better? in order to get a good mark.

Checkpoints is just questions basically. While A+ notes is an actual summary. So if you're after a summary go with A+ notes.

Um the big book stores you get your other school books at has them. Like my school used Landmark School Supplies, yours could use something different. But those shops have every single study guide, all in the new editions too. They'll definitely have psych notes and checkpoints. I'd recommend only getting unit 3 at this stage, because if you don't use them then you shouldn't buy unit 4. That's what I did, and it saved me spending money on study guides I didn't like cough checkpoints cough. I think A+ is pretty good but it does contain seem irrelevant stuff in it, I dunno about the new edition but the old edition certainly did. Otherwise the definitions in it are pretty good, I'd still recommend getting it.

i dont really care about the costs, as long as they r good text books that will help me out the most .. they could be $200 if they wanted to be XD.

Just bought A+ Summary U3 and A+ Exams U3
IMO Checkpoints isn't worth it...its just a collation of VCAA exam questions which you will end up doing anyway.
Its also priced higher then A+ books.

Neap has good questions. Some are a little stupid and off topic but on the whole, they're definitely better than checkpoints. Considering the lack of relevant practice exams next year, I'd probably get it if I were you.
I'd say for psych, just have grivas book and A+ notes book and practice exams. I also had the ross down study pack book which was pretty good too, but very similar to psych notes though so you don't need to bother getting it if you already have A+ notes.

Mhmm yeah. GRIVAS BOOK isn't even out...far out man >:( Oh well I shall satisfy myself with the A+ summary and when I arrive back from 'halfway across the world' I will go out shopping for NEAP & textbook.

some of the answers in checkpoints is wrong
A+ is really good because it comes with notes and practice exams

Thanks for all comments guys, so i should be able to find A+ study summary for most of my subjects include Psych.. in the book store right?
-
you can buy them at Academic and General in the city,
personally i found A+ notes the most helpful, along with the Neap psychology questions
-
if academic and general run out or you're into study guides, i suggest you go to the 'senior students resource centre'
