So I've heard that the Neap exams are really good for Chemistry and Math :)
I was wondering if I should get the two books for Units 1 and 2 Chemistry?
All valuable insights appreciated!

Despite the limited number of practice exams around for 1/2 Chem, they should be sufficient enough + VN help

NEAP > Checkpoints?
Checkpoints > NEAP?
Checkpoints Chemistry 1/2 are all self-made questions with fully worked solutions aren't they?...better value?

I bought Checkpoints and in the end hardly didn't even look at it, no point when you have free resources (practice exams).
And the books have a fair few q's anyway, so if you're really bored you can do them again..

I was going to buy NEAP until I saw checkpoints and didn't know which one was better so I decided to leave it and decide after research [ will be going back in Jan ]. However, pretty much everyone has told me to just focus on my 3/4 and screw the 1/2's: there are enough questions out there for free anyway.

I did my chem unit 2 exam yesterday and I got through the year doing one practice exam in total. Didn't bother with the checkpoints. I personally think that learning the content in year 11 is more important than actually becoming prepared for exam conditions and whatnot. Such a scenario isn't for everyone though.

If you want to do good in chem 3/4, i suggest take 1/2 seriously. NEAP and checkpoints, both valuable resources.

not gonna buy anything for 1/2 subjects. just borrow from library.
+ anything FREE ie. practice 1/2 exams from VN and ancient chem checkpoints my cousin donated to me :)

Don't bother buying anything for 1+2s, just a waste of money. btw, all the resources you need for all subjects will be on VN (for free)!
