Hey guys
Would it be worth it to do Aerospace/science @ monash or just do single degree?
What advantages would there be by doing the double degree over single degree?
-
Aerospace/Sci just cause thats what I'm doing ;)
But I've weighted the pros and cons of them(from my knowledge, which may be flawed)
Single Degree (Assuming Aerospace Eng.)
- More Focused on that Area of Study.
- Takes 4 years as oppsed to Five(financial circumstances may be an issue for some)
Double Degree
- More Options(Field of work)
- May have a more attractive CV
- Get to meet more people (contacts - girls too :D)
- Have a better opportunities to study aboard due to the extended length studying (same with industry placements/interships)
- Some unit may overlap slightly, giving a slight advantage over others
That all that I can remember off the top of my head. Hope it helps and hopefully, I'll be seeing you around next year :)
P.S. What area of sci are u planing on majoring in?
