Neither. You are better getting help from a tutor or doing it yourself.

I third this! Nothing will be more helpful than doing things yourself or with the support of a private tutor who will give you much more attention.

Heys, if you want to go to these lectures, I would say go Neap..TSFX are good with their weekly classes, and are okay with their summer prep.

Those sort of courses/lectures may be more useful to you prior to the exam. It reinforces/consolidates what you've learnt through the year and you'll come understand it better.
Though I agree with what's been said, get a tutor/do it yourself - that's really the best form of learning.

I also found the VCE Exam Revision lectures that are held prior to exams to be quite disappointing. They tend to cover the general mistakes made by most students and lack the depth of detail that is beneficial and necessary in achieving higher scores. I only went as an "insurance policy". At the end of the year, I wanted to be able to look back and say that I had no regrets. -1 for the lectures.

IMO with those courses (TSFX, NEAP etc), they offer a general overview of subject courses, rather than specific advice about how to tackle SACs and so on. It's really ultimately up to you - from what you've read on this thread, if you think it's worth the money - then by all means go. If you don't think it is worth it, then obviously don't go.
Presumably those "workshops" are in groups rather than 1-on-1 interaction. IMO you're better off finding a tutor for a subject like English, who can tailor to your needs and be more text-specific, rather than being in one whole group - where you might not get a lot out of it.
