I think the relating of economics to science is a longshot at best...probably faring worse than computer science as a science and software engineering as an engineering discipline (as generally accepted as it is, there is STILL debate).

There are some nice comparisons, however. Personally, I'm not prepared to accept his premise that economics ought to be considered a science. I do consider economics to be very rigourous for a mere social science, however. Maybe we ought to class economics as, well, economics?

well the question of whether it is a science depends on whether it follows the scientific method.
