Hi, i read something about getting a 20% discount on fees when you pay them fully up front and i have some questions that hopefully smeone can answer :D
Does this apply to Australian residents or only full fee paying students?
If i got a scholarship for the course, say Eng/Science at Monash for $6000/year, can i use that to pay the fees for the year upfront and then keep the rest including the 20% discount?
Thanks in advance guys :)

You get a discount on any upfront payment over a certain amount ($500?). It doesn't apply to FFP students iirc, only CSP students.
Your scholarship can be used to pay off your fees. Be aware that some scholarships are paid in installments rather than $6000 up front, so you might need to put in some of your money to pay your fees at the start of semester.
There won't be a whole lot of the scholarship left over after payment, but you might as well do it for the discount since it's free money

Yes it is still $500 for partial up-front payments. When you enrol, you should get a booklet called "Information for Commonwealth supported students" if you are a CSP student. That booklet is extremely comprehensive and will tell you how to pay and all the mechanics of the scheme.
