It's almost a month since most people have received their GAT and VCE Statement of Results. I haven't yet. :(
What's happened to it?? I know there were probably delays during the Christmas/New Years period with the post... but it's almost a MONTH now! ><
Is there anyone out there to advise me what to do next?
-
I'm guessing it got lost in the mail :/
I suppose ringing VCAA is about the only thing you can do...
-
But. but i hate ringing people up. :(
-
This is what i sent to Australia Post (email enquiry):
"Hi. I think that some mail i should have received has become lost. It was from VCAA (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority) in regards to VCE results. I believe that most students across the state should have received this letter on or around the date of December 14th 2010. I was wondering if it is possible to find this letter again?
Please reply via email, if possible.
Thank you so much. "
I guess the next phase is to wait...

The entire mailing process at Australia Post is automated, barring the delivery of mail to and from households/post offices so you should email VCAA and make an enquiry about this
-
Also I think it was something like 1 in 1 million letters aren't delivered due to minor problems so they have pretty good successful delivery rates
-
I think in year 11, my school took delivery of them, and gave them to us at the commencement of year 12.
Or maybe it was something else VCAA related, nevertheless this may have happened.

Australia Post can do next to nothing, whilst the VCAA can send it again. Call them, it's an important skill to have

@_avO and Russ, you were right ... Aus. Post couldn't help:
Thank you for your enquiry on our website.
Australia Post’s mail processing arrangements are designed to ensure the safe and speedy delivery of all postal articles. However, with over 21 million items handled daily, it is not possible to record the movement of ordinary individual articles as they travel through the postal network. On occasions, and for a variety of reasons, some articles can go astray or be delayed.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to give you any specific information as to the whereabouts of this article in this instance. I suggest you contact the sender and ask them to resend by Registered Mail, which will allow you to track on our website.
On behalf of Australia Post please accept my apology for the inconvenience this matter has caused you.
Yours sincerely,

But i found this on the VCAA website:
If for any reason you do not receive your Australia Post delivery from VCAA or VTAC on Tuesday 14 December, don’t panic, it may be held up in the mail. Check with Australia Post or, if you have moved, check your old address. If all else fails, telephone the PRAS to find out how you can obtain your VCE
results and ATAR.
and i've contacted VCAA (email, under Student Records and Results: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/aboutus/unitcontacts.html) . ^_^ I still can't bring myself to call!
