In light of preparing for Psychology this year I found hemispheric specilisation quite fascinating.
For those who don't know hemispheric specialisation refers to the specialisation and dominance of certain functions of the left and right cerebral hemispheres.
Take the test here to find out and post your result :)
My result
"You responded as a right brained person to 0 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 18questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most"
-
You responded as a right brained person to 0 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 18questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
That's mine.
-
You responded as a right brained person to 7 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 11questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most
D:
Thats pretty bad lol

Well is it? It promotes an interesting discussion: would you rather be totally dominate in one (Burberry and I LOL) or have an even-ish split?
-
You responded as a right brained person to 14 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 4questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your right brain the most. The summary briefly describes your dominance type
Umm...okay?
What does this mean?

Hahaha didn't you do Psych? :P Lol look at the chart it shows. Your right-brained so that means your better at non-verbal functions such as appreciation of art and music, creativity, perception and spatial skills etc. A left-brained person is in control of verbal and analytical functions, rational, logical, maths, science, sequential processing etc
-
Yeah its BS, I'm the complete opposite IRL.
-
Yeah its BS, I'm the complete opposite IRL.
Really? Hmm interesting, I'd say it was actually quite a good indicator for me, I'm more maths/science based anyway. I guess you could try multiple sites but this was one was quick and VN members are lazy :P
-
Yeah definitely, I always have been. I've done this before and always get diff results.
-
Ahaha, I got the same thing as ATAR and Burberry - all left brain! :S
-
"You responded as a right brained person to 0 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 18questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most."
Same as ATAR, Burberry and Menang. I'm not surprised but there were many questions where I hesitated. For those, I enjoy doing both options but I just answered with the option that gave it any slight edge.
-
You responded as a right brained person to 6 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 12questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
-
ive done this before and i too got different results anyway i am a maths person so iove always got left brain.just a matter of how much.
-
It's better to be bilateral generally because if you are dominant on one side than if you get a stroke or something impacting that hemisphere, you're in much much more trouble than someone who is bilateral.
And with that in mind, this was my result:
You responded as a right brained person to 9 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 9questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
-
Right 6 / Left 12 here but it's not thaaat simple. Some of the questions I wanted to meet in the middle anyway.
-
"You responded as a right brained person to 5 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 13questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most."
-
You responded as a right brained person to 12 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 6questions.
Well.
That was fun.
-

Congratulations - you are the first right-brainer! :D
-
You responded as a right brained person to 0 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 18questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
Hum bug.
I do think that the Left Hemisphere/Right Hemisphere thing can get quite over-emphasised to the point where it doesn't reflect the science any longer.
-
Like 4 others before me, purely left-brain.. This test is fairly stupid in general.. Though I've done much much longer ones that say I'm extremely logical, so perhaps I am more left-brained o-o
-
Hmm...You responded as a right brained person to 0 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 18questions.
I'm not surprised but there were many questions where I hesitated.
True...I found myself just visualising the scenario they give.
-

how very "right-brained" of you ;)

I had trouble selecting one way or the other for a number of them.

Nice spot there haha...I guess my right hemisphere isn't entirely redundant then.
-
You responded as a right brained person to 9 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 9questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
Like most people have said, i found it hard having to choose one answer...
-
For all you people saying you found it hard...um...that's the point?
Your hemispheres aren't exclusive - they communicate through the corpus callosum.
The whole POINT of this is to see which DOMINATES...obviously it's hard ???
-
Right 6 / Left 12 here but it's not thaaat simple. Some of the questions I wanted to meet in the middle anyway.
Retook the test:
You responded as a right brained person to 8 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 10questions
Intriguing ;)

Invalid! Confounding variable detected! :P
Can't take the same test twice - you inadvertently change your answers.

There's half of AOS1 right there... :P

Me too :P

lol, I'm right brained.

Bahahaha. Yeah, what can I say - too addicted? :P
-

About what i expected ... although i dunno, i am really affected by music
-
You responded as a right brained person to 9 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 9questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
But then according to this one I'm right brain dominant

Interesting but that's one question so not that reliable.

It's so easy for me to change what direction she moves.
-
I can't change it at all..
-
"You responded as a right brained person to 9 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 9questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most."
I lol'ed. 9+9 = left side only? -shrug-
whatever. haha
-
You responded as a right brained person to 12 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 6questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your right brain the most.
I'm pretty even when it comes to all these brain and personality tests. I'm listening to music at the moment... I wonder if this has influenced my choices.
-
You responded as a right brained person to 8 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 10questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
Some of the questions were strange...
-
Right 0, Left 18.
-
You responded as a right brained person to 0 questions, and you responded as a left brained person to 18questions. According to the Hemispheric Dominance test, you use your left brain the most.
Don't know what this means T_T LOL.
Someone explain the difference between left/right side brain pplz?
-
left brain (verbal, mathematical, analytical)
right brain (visual, artistic)
Huge overgeneralisation though, but certain functions are based in certain hemispheres
-
I'm like the least artistic person I know so this amuses me. I can't even draw a decent stick figure. For shame.
-

+1
I be also amused.

Left brain...
