Title: Help with Unit Selection

Hey guys, i got this major problem and i have no idea what to do.

I'm doing the Bachelor of Business Information Systems (IBL Stream) in 2011. I have to opt into 4 electives from any faculty in the university.

This is the course handbook for my course

So i know i have to put down 6 core units, which are FIT1002, FIT1004, FIT1006, FIT1013, FIT1030 and FIT1031 for my first year.

Now the problem is, do i have to do 4 electives during my first year? Also, what electives would be good to combine with the current course i'm doing?

To give background information, I did English, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics for my VCE. Never had a passion in Science so i'm scrapping that immediately, don't have an interest in English to be honest, LOVE mathematics if that helps.

Is there any recommendations that i should take up?

Ok, I'm doing the same course and this is what I'm up to as well!

I decided to do a minor in Financial Systems, you should have a look at that http://www.monash.edu.au/pubs/handbooks/courses/3333.html, bottom of the page, but it won't let me register AFC1000 & AFC2140 for some reason, so I'm leaving that until Tuesday. :)

I just realized that course information was the enrollment date lol. Guess we all have to wait for that date zzzzzz

I thought it was just enrollment..? Haha so confused. I think I'll just go with the flow on Tuesday.

Ahh nice.

Did you have the same scenarios? Plane stranded in desert? Cutting up magazines for the 'in 5 years time' thing? Haha

is 'Plane stranded in desert' a scenario where you get a job/profession and you have to convince everyone else why you get to be on the plane

No, although that would have been quite a good. This was where a plane crash landed in the desert with certain supplies and the group had to determine whether they would stay with the plane or leave in search of help. To complicate things there was a pregnant with a broken arm etc.

The one on one interviews weren't too bad, but I was first and my interviewer was so nervous, I swear I saw her shaking!
