Once again my post-VCE (or pre-uni) boredom kicks in. And I can't sleep.
Anyways:
Say you do a degree in science with subjects in several sciences (Maths, Bio, Chem, etc)
and then you do like the Adult VCE at RMIT.
You could probably kill the subjects.
I'm just wondering, do you think anyone would stop you doing the VCE again after getting a uni degree?
I would totally repeat it just for lolz.

haha sure you can repeat VCE, just enroll in subjects at a TAFE - you will still get an ATAR.
but this is such a waste of time o-o
-
Chyeah!
I know its a waste of time.
But who knows, maybe 10 years down the track, I would feel accomplished if I thrash a whole heap of 18-year-olds. XD
Nah, jks. I'm just curious. =]

haha so sneaky.. go ahead ;)!

Can you enrol while working full-time? maybe do 3 subjects
me and my bro were talking about this the other day, we thought we might compete later in life and see who gets higher scores just for lols. haha we'll just sit the exams and do any sacs.
-
I believe so.
Just like how we do yr12 subjects in year 11.
Would be interesting seeing you a few years down the track doing vce again. XD

of course you can work full-time.. you are allowed to work whenever, even in your real year 12 (some people already did this).. :)
-
This actually sounds fun.
Just thinking where I'm going to fit these two years in my short life. =]
-
Get 100 or so really smart peers, repeat VCE, take out all the 99.95s, 50s in chem, methods, spesh etc
That would be funny ;)

then go on T.V and be like "THIS IS USELESS TO US, WE GRADUATED 6 YEARS AGO AND WE'RE WORKING AS ENGINEERS AND DOCTORS AND MAKING BIG $$".
then you see students that stressed out cry=more lols.
mean I know...but I would laugh.
-
LOL!
WE'VE GOT THIS!!!

You lose 10% of your final mark.
Just saying.

Clearly that's a deterrent...

I don't think i would want to repeat year 12 again with all the pressure there is..but maybe I could since I wouldn't feel the pressure anymore since I'd be waay older.

And there would be no real pressure. Since you're not doing to get into a course or anything, you're just doing it for fun.

there is no penalty for repeating regardless of your age, uni degree, etc.

Are you sure? My mother lost 10% of her mark; she got a letter from VTAC and everything because she was in her late 30s and had already done her HSC once before.
there is no penalty for repeating regardless of your age, uni degree, etc.

When was this?

trust me you will have better things to do

I think they removed the 10% penalty after 2005. I remember reading it from one of those vtac publications
-
I'm thinking that, because my mum did it in 2003/2004 (can't really remember exactly when).

Yeah it used to be a penalty but in the last few years they removed it. So now it's all good to repeat ;)
-
they removed the penalty.
they also removed the part where subjects had to be done within a certain amount of years around each other to count.
BUT, as of this year, if you have done a CERT 3 or a UNI degree and you decide to go and do a VCE subject, then you have to pay FULL FEE. you cant get concession or anything.(this is done so people, such as the druggie from my class last year who did uni in 1987, and then did vce from 2000 until 2010, to "keep his mind active" at the ripe age of 42 couldnt do vce, then uni, then vce, then uni thus huge hecs bill that will never be paid and a wanker who will never work)
edit: When i looked at doing my vce as an adult, one thing that turned me off RMIT was that not many subjects were on offer. hence why i went to the cae, but i also looked at Distance Ed
-
Yeah well... Full Fee doesn't cost that much for VCE subjects does it?
RMIT VCE offers all the subjects that I was doing, and I only said RMIT as an example. =]
Fun fun fun fun. XD

really can't think of anything else better to do than this
