I was wondering if anyone had tips for annotating research in VCD.
I struggle with annotations and usually they are too wordy.
I am designing a teapot so obviously most of my research is of tea pots. But what else do I need to look at?
Any help would be appreciated! :)

Annotations are actually really easy. Instead of thinking too hard about what you 'should' write, let it come naturally. Look at the picture/ image once, and just evaluate it.
E.g. The sturdy black handle on the teapot coupled with its bright, flowing body emphasise a smooth, flowing form which appeals to young adults due to its contemporariness. I like it / the because.. etc.
It doesn't matter at all what you write, just don't bs too much or it'll be obvious!!

Haha. Thanks. I've always pretty much just made up crap through my annotations but become more detailed when annotating my own refinement and designs.
Thanks, this helps heaps! Just finished with my art annotations so onto 10 pages of VCD annotations. Yay.

As said by Darren don't overthink the annotations. When one does that it is when they tend to write about irrelevant stuff. Although your annotations don't need to be perfect, far from it actually. As long as they show what you think and how you plan to progress that is all you need.
Good luck :)
