Title: Allocate pref question
Post by: gemgem49 on February 16, 2011, 07:58:57 pm
If there is a tutorial time that is at 162% are they likely to make two tutorials running for that time? There are four slots available for one particular subject I am doing... one is 122%, one is 162%, one is 20% and one is 8%... would they also be likely to cancel the last one since barely anyone has picked it?

I was under the impression that anything over 100% means that those who miss out get reallocated into another time slot (so the remaining 62% would be moved into the 20% or 8% slot)

what?

Isn't that percentage just the demand for that specific time?!? 162% means it has the highest demand while there's no demand for the 8% tute.

I dunno, but I reckon they would cancel it.

Oh.. I thought it actually meant how many ppl. Like for example a tute with a class size of 18 people that has 150% meant that 27 people want that time slot.. eh i've been mislead!
