We may have an upcoming Biology Practical SAC next monday which if it is then i will not be able to attend.
What is the process for missing SAC's ?

you can easily postpone it but you have to have a very good reason as to why you;re not gonna make it since it will eventually count towards your SS

At my school, there's a form that you have to fill out. First of all, you definitely have to tell your teacher when and why you are not going to make the SAC, and usually he/she will arrange another date for you to do the SAC. This form that you fill out, an "extension of time form" needs to have an approved signature, etc., before you hand it into your teacher or coordinator. And i think that afterwards, one of the teacher need to "relay" this information to VCAA - whether scanning the form or otherwise.
That's the process at my school anyway. You would be safest asking your teacher EXACTLY what you need to do. For me, skipping SACs without teacher's prior notice is pretty serious.

You do it another time, depends on the teacher but.
i.e, Legal Studies - You'd have to do a different sac and provide an extremely good reason why you missed it
Philosophy - just tell him before you could miss it and he organises another time

One bit of advice for you I do have is that you've gotta get in contact with your teacher/senior school staff as soon as possible!
Don't postpone it at all, if you know you want make it go and talk to them TOMORROW.
In my experience, telling your teacher you won't make a SAC even, a week in advance is sometimes enough to get a 'too bad'

Wow, guess going to a crappy public school can be beneficial sometimes. All we have to do is tell the teacher in advance and organise another day to do it :)

Yeah, but any late SACs still have to go through to VCAA, and there are usually some forms to fill out (either by you or your teacher). This is yr 12. Yr 11 was more lenient.

Year 11 was more lenient because year 11 was marked in-house.
SACs are usually kept until all students have completed them. It doesn't really matter when they're sent off to VCAA.
EDIT: At least, that's how it worked in I.T. last year.

Dr Stiglec will lol and you will get a max of 26 RAW SS for bio

Just ask your teacher to do it earlier than everyone else (or if your lucky, later). Don't worry, if the teachers don't input a SAC mark they are the ones who get in trouble from VCAA so you WILL do the SAC, maybe even in a different bio class for a day (for pracs). MHS always tries to maximise scores so they'll be lenient.

If we missed a sac we had to fill out a supp form, plus have documents to support why we couldnt do it, and then do it on a saturday.
one saturday morning i did three sacs

just for safety sake, make sure you get a med certificate then. because even if your school tells you that you dont need one, VCAA can demand one later on for it. so better to be safe than sorry
