Title: Quotient Differentiation-Quotient Rule
Post by: Water on March 01, 2011, 09:19:12 pm
Hey guys

I need to find the f'(x) of x/ Square Root (x+1)

So, basically, I can do all the steps, till it hits the last step, in which i can't get the final answer. And its annoying me, perhaps someone can care to enlighten me. I"m sure, I"m going to kick myself after someone simplifies it for me LOL.

I get to my final answer: (x+1)^1/2 - 1/2 x(x+1)^-1/2   divided by x+1

After that, =(, my answer side tracks from calculator T_T
