sheesh, you've done 12 exams already?
Absolutely nothing wrong with that - started the relevant portions of Psych already! :)
-
When do you guys think you'll start revising for the midyear? I'm planning to have unit 3 completed by the end of next week so I can't start on summaries and eventually practice exams.
-
I actually plan to finish the course by the end of the term. So I have my 2 week break + 1 whole term to prepare for exams. Currently doing chapter9.. Yeah fallin' a bit behind here but got so much to focus on other than Accounting.
-
Falling a bit behind?? My class is only up to chapter 7, but I did most of it on the holidays so I'm up to chapter 13 of neville box.

Last year, I started studying for the Unit 3 exam a good month or two out from the actual exam. Once you finish Unit 3, as a suggestion, for the first few exams that you do; don't time yourself. See how much of the exam you can do without referring to your textbook/notes. As you do more exams, then time yourself. It helps to replicate the exam conditions you'll be under come the actual exam. My thinking is that the quicker you finish Unit 3, the better - more time to do exams. Good luck to everyone! =]

Did you do any extra study after finishing unit 3 EPL? Summarising chapters..?

After finishing Unit 3, I used Checkpoints (i.e. doing questions) as well as writing down theory notes for each chapter of Unit 3. In addition, I'd made summary notes at the beginning of the year for Unit 3, so I looked over those as well. That's just me. Also, theory is very important - you'll hear it from your teacher now doubt. It's really what separates the A's from the A+'s. Do whatever you think works for you; everyone is different. :)
-
Theory seems like what I'll need the most work with, I'm planning on summarising the chapters, checkpoints, neap, leading edge and then writing up a theory book because seeing as they can only ask specific theory questions, I figure I'll write brief answers that I can memorise and then adapt to any situation
