the lecture for maestro was on last week... from what i've read it doesn't sound like a lecture as such, more of a book appreciation thing so i just skipped it... would be keen to know how people found it though!

Haha don't quote me on it, but yeah I'm pretty sure it's not a lecture-lecture, someone correct me if I'm wrong (:

I went yesterday for the crucible. There not specific enough for year 12 knowledge, especially for context books I would advise not to go. For actual texts perhaps it would be good. I quote the guy saying "it's about celebrating texts as more as the study design,"

'Celebrating' Ransom. Is that even possible?

Might not, based on chelseaFC's comments, I'll just go for the video they'll put online afterwards. It'll have all the talking and info, and I can watch it on public transport to and from school. Saves me a bit of time.

I went to the Cosi one last year, the guest was the person who acted as Roy in the first production . The talk itself was more about background of Cosi but the questions raised by the audience was rather helpful.
