I am pleased to present a VCE PE Hub seminar during the upcoming autumn holidays. The seminar will be run at RMIT University in Brunswick and is available to all VCE PE Hub members (hint: signup, it's free!). It provides a way for students to refresh themselves on all the things that they have learnt and consolidate on the areas that they are learning in unit three. Students will also receive an introduction to unit four to allow them to start processing concepts that will be relevant for the rest of the year. Sessions will run for three hours and students will be able to ask questions throughout and at the conclusion. There will be interactive activities and tasks to perform so that everyone is interested and engaged. The seminar is designed to give students the opportunity to really grasp concepts holistically and will feature a wide variety of learning methods in an exciting format.
When: Thursday April 21, 11am - 2pm
Where: RMIT Brunswick Library, Building 514, Level 2, Seminar Room 1.
25 Dawson Street Brunswick
Getting there: Tram 19 from Elizabeth Street in the City or Tram 55 from Flinders Street and Queens Bridge Street. Get off at stop 21, Dawson Street. Or, take the Upfield railway line to Jewell Station.
Cost: $15 including lecture notes
How to book
- Payments in cash are accepted at the venue and will be collected prior to starting. You may also pay electronically, ask for this option when booking.
- Please reserve a spot by PMing me. You must book before showing up as I need to prepare the resources for the seminar. There will be a limit of 18 students, 10 spots left as of Saturday 1pm.
- Bookings close Monday April 18.
A few important things
- Please be sure to get there early (10 minutes before) as campuses can be quite confusing to navigate and it would be great to start on time! The seminar room will be open from 10.30am
- My mobile number will be given to all those participating in case anyone needs to contact me. Feel free to call me if you get lost or have any questions.
- Bring pen and paper or a laptop if you like.
- Bring questions and be ready to think!
