Do school reports affect the ATAR? Lol I got completely owned by school report
-
Nope, but if your report isn't particularly good, it would most likely mean that you haven't been performing well in SACs - which do count towards your ATAR!
-
Good! Because I got owned. I had an English SAC, Further Part 1, Two Physics, 1 legal and 1 partial methods SAC so far. Ive got time to fix things up still, its not over :)
-
They don't matter at all. Ha, in year twelve I forgot all about school reports.
-
I got 100% "work submitted" for every subject except for "75%" in GMA.
Seems like my decision to drop GMA is going to be a masterstroke :coolsmiley:

We don't even get 'school reports' at my school anymore. The principal implemented a new system (based on locke, for those BM students) where we get monthly progress reports and allocated a mentor to talk us through our progress for each class.
Basically, we set a goal SS for each class and get told whether we're on the right track or not. Works much better than "Work completed = S/N" imo.

While they may be an indicator about your performance in assessments pertaining to your final ATAR score, reports themselves don't affect your ATAR score, so no need to stress!

hey we got those interim reports too. it was new for my school this yr.
it just had "satisfactory", "need attention' blablablaaa for all the subjects - wat a waste of paper...
