What's the difference between the current study design and the previous one? Is it still worth doing the practice exams from the previous study design?

That document has a list of changes from the old study design to the current one.
Generally you should be pretty okay with the older exams, it's definitely worth checking them out (in my opinion).
I've been doing the motion questions from older exams. I was pretty okay with them, they seem to have remained pretty much the same (motion-wise anyway). The main thing I remember that has been taken out is the 'range equation', but the approach taught in the current textbooks (splitting into vertical/horizontal components etc.) still gave the correct answer.
I did 2000 onwards.
