Post by: zibb3r on April 30, 2011, 11:40:20 pm
If my aim was:

To produce a sample of bio-diesel through a process of trans esterification, and purify the sample through fractional distillation.

If was able to do everything in my aim, how do i state the conclusion???

"XXXXX grams of biodiesel is synthesized via transesterification and purified using fractional distillation."

even though it wasnt stated in the aim that we're trying to find the mass (g)?

A better figure than mass would be yield (if you know how to calculate it). Generally the primary finding of synthesis is yield (or mass), which indicates how successful you are with the synthesis.
